Outreach Round Table Dedicated to the Day of Gratitude

Today, museum researchers Ekaterina Vozzhova and Anna Turlubekova visited the Zhartas School of the Abay District, where a round table titled “Memories Filled with Gratitude” was held, dedicated to the Day of Gratitude. During the educational event, the researchers introduced students to historical documents and archival photographs of deported peoples. The students immersed themselves in history by working with unique exhibits and interactive materials. They showed great interest in historical artifacts that helped them better understand the complex periods of the past. The tasks not only helped them acquire new knowledge but also developed teamwork and analytical thinking skills. Thanks to this format, the students not only gained new insights but also learned to appreciate historical heritage. The round table contributed to strengthening the preservation and development of unity among the multinational people of Kazakhstan, based on their shared history. At the end of the event, the students were treated to Kurt, a traditional symbol of gratitude.
