With gratitude for the new scanner — a contribution to preserving memory

The Museum of memory of victims of political repression expresses its sincere gratitude to the Slobodskoys and their families, who donated a modern planetary book scanner Bookeye BE5-V3 Basic to the museum for digitizing archival documents. The Slobodskoys are descendants of the repressed poet and mountaineer Mikhail Ivanovich Slobodskoy, who served time and died in Karlag. Thanks to their caring attitude to historical memory, our museum was able to process unique documents, letters, photographs and personal testimonies related to the tragic pages of history more efficiently and quickly.

We express our sincere gratitude to the Grandstok company for supplying the scanner, as well as for the professional advice provided on its selection and operation.

The new scanner opens up new horizons for us in the preservation and popularization of historical heritage. Let your good deed serve as an example of how important and necessary it is to support cultural and educational initiatives.
