REPUBLICAN SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE "REPRESSIVE POLICY DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR"

On May 30, 2025, the Republican scientific and practical conference “Repressive Policy during the Great Patriotic War” was held at the Museum of memory of victims of political repression, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the Day of memory of victims of political repression and famine.

The event brought together leading scientists, descendants of the repressed, historians, and practitioners from all over the country to exchange experiences, discuss the updating of scientific research on the history of political repression in Kazakhstan, the formation of historical consciousness, the transfer of historical experience to future generations, and the perpetuation of the memory of the victims of political repression and famine.

The conference was attended by scientists from the country's leading universities, historians, archive staff, museum specialists, master's students and doctoral. More than 10 reports and presentations were presented during the conference, covering a wide range of topics on the repressive policy during the Great Patriotic War.
