May 31 - Day of Memory of Victims of Political Repression and Famine in Kazakhstan

Today, on the Day of memory of victims of political repression and famine, a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the victims of political repression took place in the museum. The event was organized jointly with the Akimat of Shakhtinsk town. Participants honored the memory of millions of people who fell victim to the totalitarian regime, the famine of the 1930s and mass repressions. With a minute of silence, those present expressed deep sorrow and respect for the tragic pages of the country's history.
